George, Fredrick, and William Augustus were her three uncles whose legitimate children were not alive. The 63 years of her longer reign than any of her predecessors is known as the Victorian era. In 1940, Victoria married her first cousin Franz August Karl Albert Emanuel. It was an industrial, political, scientific, and military change period in the United Kingdom and a great expansion of the British Empire. In 1876, she got the additional “Empress of India” title.
